Carvalla Real

This Filly was sold. We will be breeding the same combination at a later date.

Branded & awarded Premium Holsteiner filly at 2010 Holsteiner inspection. Carvalla combines the best of German & French Bloodlines. She will be an exceptional sport horse or breeding mare. She is one of the first offspring sired by Germanys licensing champion Diarado, here in the US. Correct with powerful fluid movement, she demonstrates her strong will and athletic ability on a daily basis. Carvalla is out of our Premium Holsteiner Mare & reserve site Champion Wishful Thinking.

So often the best mares are sold and entered into sport before being allowed the chance to produce. Wishful thinking was kept back from sport to breed. Early on she demonstrated great athletic potential, amazing conformation & an attitude to succeed. Her breeding is a line of proven successes. Wishful thinking is out of our imported level 7,8 jumper mare Alba Real by the grand prix jumper Chesapeake by (Carvallo)

Carvalla's Sire Diarado led the 70 day test by a wide margin, scoring 9.73 for jumping ability around a course & 9.5 for rideability. At the 2010 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Diarado had two first place finishes amongst the best five yr old horses.

Diarado's pedigree strings together the genes of top performance stallions.  His sire, Diamant de Semilly, was a member of the team that won the gold medal at the World Championships in Jerez in 2002 & also won a team silver at the European Championship in 2003 & was named "Best Sire of Young Horses". Grandsire, Le Tot de Semilly, was a successful international competition horse & is considered to be one of the best show jumping sires in France. Corrado I, Contender, Lord and Ramiro - all exceptional breeding stallions and winners of millions of euro in prize money . Diarado's dam line 318d2 dam line produced the approved stallions Corofino I and II, Coriano, Chello I and II, licensing champion Camiros and the international show jumpers Cabrio and Morales.

In 2004, after a good start (winner of Auvers GP CSI), he had been short listed for Athens Olympic Games, but because of a tendonitis he had to stop competing for a while. He ended successfully the 2005 show jumping season winning the two GP CSI*** of Saint-Lô de Caen
stallion Landgraf
Landgraf Jumping is the field where he excells most as a sire. The list of his show jumping offspring is endless. A few names for example: Freestyle (formerly Lalique) won Aachen Grand Prix, Libero won the Dutch National title five times, & also the 1994 Volvo World Cup. Nearly sixty colts by Landgraf  have been licenced for the Holsteiner stud book. So far, 340 broodmares by Landgraf  are registered in the Holsteiner stud book, 260 of these are in the Head Stud Book, 70 have been awarded the State Premium, and a considerable number have been champion mares at shows. Landgraf I was a legend already during his life time. His genes are securely ancored in the breed of the modern sporthorse. In the 2007-2008 edition of the French breeding guide, Bernard le Courtois has examined the performance records of the world's top jumping horses in 2006. On the basis of 2515 competitors, he has compiled a list of the top 75 stallions in the world. He identifies four dominant male lines: Almé, Cor de la Bryère, Capitol and Landgraf. Landgraf is the sire of five stallions out of the top 75, with two in the top ten. The most successful of his sons is Burgraaf, who has 26 winners to occupy 6th place. The World Cup winner, Libero is in 9th place with 22 CSI winners. He is the only stallion with two representatives - Libertina and No Mercy - in the world's top ten performers!

Le Tot de Semilly was the 18th most popular stallion in France, while his son, Diamant de Semilly, took 9th place with 139. Son Diamant de Sémilly made the 4, 5 & 6 year old finals at Fontainebleau before going on to a star studded international career, that included playing a key role in the gold medal French team at the WEG in Jerez.
