Laurin was winner of the Holsteiner stallion approval 1987. He competed at GP level & was # 87 on the world breeding ranking of showjumping stallions 2003/2004. Her sire Diarado unites a brilliant jumping technique with outstanding intelligence, a one-hundred percent positive attitude & sensational scope. Diarado's impressive high score at his 70-day test of 150.57 points confirmed all high expectations of him. This jet black stallion led by a wide high margin, scoring 9.73 for jumping ability around a course of jumps and 9.5 for rideability. Diarado won his first novice horse show jumping class with a score of 9.0. His first crop of foals are elegant, streamlined, and elastic movers with an impressive hind leg action.
Diarado has a pedigree of top performance stallions. His sire, Diamant de Semilly, was a member of the team that won the gold medal at the World Championships in Jerez in 2002 & he also won a team silver at the European Championship in 2003. Even as a young stallion he was repeatedly named "Best Sire of Young Horses". Grandsire, Le Tot de Semilly, was also a successful international competition horse & he is considered to be one of the best show jumping sires in France. Corrado I, Contender, Lord and Ramiro - all exceptional breeding stallions and winners of millions of euro in prize money - also feature in Diarado's dam line 318d2. This same dam line also produced the approved stallions Corofino I and II, Coriano, Chello I and II, licensing champion Camiros and the international show jumpers Cabrio and Morales.
