2010 colt by Cornets stern (Coronet Obolensky) out of a grand prix mare by Argentinus. There is not doubt of the potential of this foal. his breeding is some of the best in Germany. He is a beautiful upright strong colt with the potential to be great.
His sire Cornet's Stern was in the 2008 Bundeschampionat final. He scored 9.0 in the qualifier, 9.0 in the final qualifier and 9.0 and 9.3 respectively in the two rounds of the final. His performance at his 70-day test, where he received the excellent score of 9.75 for scope and 9.5 for jumping ability.
Cornet's Stern combines the Olympic genes of his sire, Cornet Obolensky, with the direct dam line of European Champion mare Gladdys. Cornet Obolensky is a successful show jumping stallion with his rider Marco Kutscher and he has already produced two North Rhine-Westphalia licensing champions. His oldest offspring were six in 2009 and they have collectively won prize money of more than EUR 106,000.
His maternal grandsire, Pilot, was the youngest horse in Germany to win one million euro in prize money & has produced top show jumpers such as Aachen World Championship finalist Pialotta and Ludger Beerbaum's Team World Champion Priamos.
This colts dam line is by Argentinus who produced not only Jumpers but dressage horses as well. In 1996, Argentinus was the youngest millionaire among Germany's top sires and is still regarded as amongst the most successful living Stallions in Germany. A successful advanced level jumper himself, this Performance Class 1, Main Premium stallion has bred both jumping and dressage stallions.
